HI, I am going to use Drupal for one of my site. Drupal will not support trailing slashes at the end of the URL. So, that I Can only have the following link structures. Categrories: www.mydomain.com/category, www.mydomain.com/category/subcategory Pages : www.mydomain.com/category/pagename or categories: www.mydomain.com/category.html pages: www.mydomain.com/category/page.html Which one will be very helpful to get high seo benefits. Thanks in advance.
One thing must be kept in mind that more the deeper your landing page link will be, more less tendency it will be for search engine to crawl So if you are using various categories then it is better that you use domain/category1/cat1page1 This will help visitors and search engine to categorize your inner pages with relevancy But if you don't have more than one category then i will advice domain/cat1page1.ext domain/cat2page2.ext ....
depends on your PR and site architecture. you can do wonderful things with canonical tags and breadcrumbs as well as using xml sitemaps to gte your content crawled.
