First is about a product I was promoting. I made some sales when it launched. The article I wrote some time ago (yr and half) and I can still see clicks on the links in my CB account. Now I wanted to check the campaign and the page that appears with this vendor (affx1) is cbgamechanger.com So when I click on my clickbank affiliate link with that product I can see my CB id at the last of the URL but when I click on the buy now button, then the check out form says (Affiliate=none) How can that be? Check it out for yourself by building the hoplink with the vendor id affx1. The other is that When I loged in today there is a report that a sale was made. But the amount is 0.00 I checked the transaction section and it has RB which I think means rebill. But the amount is ZERO. Can anyone give me any explanation?
He is somehow deleting your cookie and basically ripping affiliates off....stay well clear.... If it's a rebill it probably is a free trial which is billed later....
But is that possible? Has clickbank no control over this? Then it has to be a loophole for dishonest vendors. Well but what can we do because there can be dozens like this??? And I faced some vendor never paying in infusionsoft though I made some there. We are victims and there seems to be no solution any time soon.
Sorry but you are wrong. Dont make accusations before you have checked the facts. I dont know this guy nor I promote his product but I've checked out of curiosity. You are simply using the wrong vendor id. Check his links are: http://1.webxmay.pay.clickbank.net/ And you are trying with affx1 which is wrong.
Then maybe you should check the facts.....the vendor ID affx1 does infact go to http://www.cbgamechanger.com/ so the poster is using the correct hoplink https://www.clickbank.com/spotlightProfile.htm?f=mkt&v=AFFX1 .....it looks like the vendor is using two hoplinks but only one is being credited????.......not sure but it looks pretty fishy
it works fine from my side. Your hoplink should be: http://affx1.webxmay.hop.clickbank.net let's just chill everyone. but yes, some vendors do steal affiliate commissions, gives us all a bad name but it doesn't seem this guy's doing it tho. Just my 2 cents worth. cheers.
Not sure if this is a mistake. But definitely vendors CAN manipulate the system I think. Because how many campaigns are you running currently? May be they are in the hundreds or thousands and you can not check everyone of them if you are being credited for your sales. Most of the time if you promote make money products, they give you sales in the launch time and almost die as time goes. Then you get clicks here and there and even sales. Then the vendors will do anything that they can to benefit from this low traffic. Some collect email addreses and sell their product with autoresponder message and get 100% of the sale - from your traffic. Well I can't do anything about it ... zzippoo.
Just make a search in cb-analytcs, it is not one or 2 there are a lot. http://www.cb-analytics.com/search.php?q=cbgamechanger Looks like the vendor is using 10 different CB accounts under one domain, which is a bit strange for me also. Dont know if it is the same product or not, I will not check all of them. Dont know why this is the case and if he is testing 10 different landing pages. But for the previous site the fact is that the poster has used the wrong link.
collecting emails and selling a product with autoresponders does not mean they will get the sale. if the autoresponder is with a "naked" link, you will still be credited with the sale as long as your cookie is still in the system. thanks.
