How to get .edu backlinks!

Edu links is very important because it gives credibility to your site.

 

Links in the forums/signatures are discounted.
Google is getting smarter everyday. It is getting very hard to fool the system

 

I found a trick to find valuable edu links that auto-approves comments. Some are blogs and some are forums. Just be be careful not to be so obvious in dropping your links.

This method works quite well, I've tried it in the past and got good results.

 

Good idea but comments, forums, blogs, etc usually have a no follow attribute in the code that doesn't allow Google to index the page.

 

anyway, I will give it a try. You never know what people need. Student need lots of stuff. Signature doesn't mean spam. sometimes it's useful info for them.

 

I really hope a .edu link, but ir is too hard to get.

 

I read somewhere that an edu link is equivalent to 20 .com domain. I guess the weight of an edu hinges on the premise that it is taken by Google as an authority site.

 

Y that is true we can use signature in .edu boards for back links.

 

I got a list of more than more than a thousands of edu backlinks in my hard drive for my backlinking services.

 

Good idea, I guess the same will apply to .Gov websites as well! I don't think forum signatures are devalued at all, a backlink is a backlink!

 

Hi, I'm new here. I have one question though.

Are .edu and .gov backlinks still good even if they do not have any PR? How do these type of links compare with normal backlinks to .com/.net/.org/etc sites.

I am talking about blog comments BTW.

Smart webmaster of .edu sites will not allow any Signature link. Only noobs will allow to have Signature links in .edu forums. Because .edu forums are for the institution's own use, not for SEO purpose.

and backlinks from another sites is just for strengthening the pages of your site and increase its credibility
