    - On the eve of YieldAds request payment (not yet received any) received an email from Mr Brian said:

    Dear publishers,

Thank you for your continued support for YieldAds. Due to the increased number of publishers joining our network and the increased payments through PayPal -- and the number of fradulent PayPal accounts, partners who wish to be paid through PayPal MUST provide a photocopy of a government issued photo identification or passport to ensure the authenticity of our partner. This is only for payments through PayPal. Payments through PayPal will be suspended until a copy of the ID is provided.

We sincerely apologise for all the inconvenince caused. Should you have any question, please feel free to contact your account manager. Thank you.

    - Someone also received this request? It is clear, in addition of invoice ....
    I appreciate the help.

yes, i've also receive the same email from them, i guess they are protecting their company from those fraudsters out there. just send them any photocopied/scanned of your latest government issued ID and you'll be fine.

i've received several payments from yieldads before, and i've contacted them today and asked why I they haven't sent their payment to me this month. they said, payments for this month will be late because they are screening lots of fraudulent accounts.

devangvisaria - simply this: YMads scam. Yieldads have low rates, but it makes payments. The nerv was wrong only in the names, very similar.

pinoyvids - Do not think so. I find it to inhibit people to request payments. The more exigencies, less payments.
Working with several companies on the web and get all via paypal and no additional requirement was made.
Is that fraud is only with the Yieldads?

Not even the mighty google does it, he has other methods of identification, such as: send a password to the address, mobile.

    - Anyway let's see where this goes ... Thank you all for discussion.
