Hi, I would like to set up a campaign, which is targeted at sites in the contextual network, that a primarily visited by women. At the moment I dont want to try CPM ads. I have set up a campaign with lots of keywords that center around "decoration", "cosmetics" ad "work at home moms". But I only get very, very few impressions. it's like 2000 impr/day. Adwords tells me I average at slot 3.5... Does anyhone have a suggestion, why I dont get more impressions? There must be tons of traffic from large sites with those "female topics". I hope the female members of DP are not offended, because I only see them decorating and caring about cosmetics, but I wanted to start with the obvious topics Thanks and kind regards, Hans
Great ressource! Thanks alot. I have been searching for all kinds of [women keywords] terms, but this site didn't turn up. Thanks and kind regards, Hans
It really is a great resource. I learned about it through Shoemoney's show, but now I've expanded to regularly listening to six of the shows every week. It's so convenient because you can download the podcasts and listen to them while you work or drive.
I am having some problem listening to this radio..When i play something it plays for 10-12 secs then it stops. When i click on play again the same thing repeats itself.Anyone?
Well, personally I think the general advice in this sort of case is: have you tried changing the copy of the add? It is probably just not written well. Women do in general read different from men - so the style should be different. We take context into account more, in many situations, so here too, probably. So perhaps you should not target 'cosmetics' but 'looking good' or something. And I'm not sure women will respond well to an add that targets 'work at home moms' too explicitly. In other words: what do you want the work-at-home-moms to do? What need of theirs are you fulfilling?
