In my opinion, it can't possibly compliment the Bible. Why should we need another book to teach us the same principles?
I believe Christ visited the natives because the continents were together then. I believe they separated over time.
I can learn about the Natives beliefs by researching them and their history, and I do.
It sounds to me like someone was just trying to brainwash Natives into believing in Christ.
Like Mohommad included Jews and Jesus in his "extended", "updated" version of the Bible.
I do not for one second believe that God would give us directions for life then appoint all these other people to update, extend and compromise it.
He is, was smart enough to get it right the first time.
There were already great messages of peace and joy in the Bible.
I have a book of Morman, I have trouble reading it and understanding it.

The Bible makes my simple mind happy!

The Bible suits me because it's good enough just the way it is!
I don't need anyone to teach it to me,learn another language I don't need to go to any church, I don't need to read any other books, it's all right there!

Just because the Bible exaggerates things into fiction, doesn't mean all the people or places in it never existed. Jesus may have existed as a regular guy, or he could have been a delusional lunatic that really thought he was the son of god.

Everyone is different.. I can't compare myself to billions of people I've never met. Besides that, the majority of religious atrocities are committed as a group with a mob mentality. Alone and powerless they're generally nice people

God was right, the hundreds of people that changed and translated the Bible after were wrong... ever play the game "telephone"? pass the same information down several times through several languages and you are bound to mess the info up somewhere along the way.

If you don't believe the Bible is "fact" why bother to write a book that "compliments" it? !

You should try reading the following verses:

    Mark 3:35
    Romans 12:1-2
    Hebrews 10:35-37
    1 John 2:17
    Deut 6:4-9
    Col 1:10
    1 Tim 2:4-7

After reading these, do you still think that's all we need to do?

Lol, the golden tablets get me too!
God already gave us the 10 commandments and the golden rule.
Where are these golden tablets now?
The Muslims believe Mohommad went in a cave and brought some tablets out also.

So, you are saying every writer (inspired by God) from the Bible exaggerated the facts? Of what possible gain would that bring? I don't see the sense in that argument.

Oh that was very smooth of you :D So even though I leave a trail of murder and oppression I am generally a nice guy huh? That's hilarious! :D

Every writer (NOT inspired by any God) wrote up some stories. I just watched a show a few weeks ago about the Book of Revelations and their writer. He was an old pissed off guy in exile on some island. The show covered all his fictionalized work as hate for those that exiled him.

hehehehe...That's the apostle John. He wrote the book in his 90's. The reason he wrote it that age is because Jesus told him to, because if he wrote it earlier he would not have any understanding of it. He wrote it when he was older and wiser.

Of course, you would have to believe what is shown on TV. :D

You know, Yoga! One day you will become older and wiser. It's gonna be a long time before you do. Then again, time is a funny thing. You never know what's around the corner. :)

I believe scientists and researchers who dedicate their entire lives to uncovering the truth of our world. I know you can't accept it because it opposes your already made-up mind on the subject. Oh well! :p
