    Hi,

I didn't want to have to do this, but it seems i have to bring this problem to the public for help, even if it means discrediting the people involved.

on the 29th August this year, i made a purchase from http://www.forummechanics.com to the value of $35 for posting. Now i still haven't seen these posts. after contacting the current owner numerous times i finally get 2 e-mails from him (Ralph.) The first one is CC'd to me and To another DP forum user who was the previous owner (the owner when i made the purchase - r3dt@rget) which said:

Fair do's that makes sense. Ralph, the new owner, also sent me another e-mail directed to me with proof of purchase etc. saying:

And he also attached a picture of the paypal reciept for the purchase of the site.

So fair do's i think, "yeah this is alright, simply contact baber and ask for a refund as he has my money" so i e-mail him. Yet no response. So sent him a message on DP forums as a last resort and got the PM response back:

    So now i'm confused.

Who owe's me money. I'm $35 out of pocket and no services have been provided.

Sorry to both of the people involved.

    Thanks in advanced

    Dom.

p.s. ive blocked some details out of the emails by the way...

Let's see if we can sum this up.

You contracted ForumMechanics.com to make a number of posts via the then owner, r3dt@rget.

Subsequently, the site was sold to the new owner, factorysealed, via this thread at DP.

To date, you have not had the posting services you originally paid for from the original owner.

To my mind, the original owner, r3dt@rget, owes you money for the services, assumming you had a contract.

Without the contract, I'm not sure there is anything you can can do.

Certainly the new owner does not owe you money or any posting services.

i agree with you - regardless of the sum, a deal is a deal and you should get what you paid for... though sometimes the hassle may just be too much ;)

anyway, i think that you should ask the original owner to prove that when he sold the site to the new owner, the sale included the existing obligations. if not, go after the original owner.
