co.cc never really had a good viability in the first place.
I've found that if you really can't invest in a domain name cz.cc is much better.

Good decision by Google. World will be less spammy from now.

If a webmaster / blogger is serious about his website, I don't think $7 is a big ask for anyone.

I got the Google page rank of 2 for my co.cc blog in last Google page rank update. But now it is blocked. I think i don't want to worry, because I should have to go for a top level domain name from the beginning. That is my fault. But why I did that?? Because I didn't know anything about web development when joining with blogger community. I didn't know whether I can manage a blog or not. If I buy a top level domain and unable to maintain it, it is wasting of my money. That is why most of the people use to take a free domain at the beginning. That is not their fault. But you people are also correct. Some bad people use this domain to spam the internet and search engines. You people talking about 7$ can buy a domain name. yes that is true. But you don't know what can we do by using 7$ in asian countries. You don't know the real value of 7$ in asian countries. You can live 5-6 days by 7$ in these countries. It is a large amount for those people.

So I think it is unfair to blame everyone who is using co.cc domains. Because the intention of all the people who are using this co.cc domains are not to spam. They do so because they can't afford the .com domains.

Anyway this is not a matter for me. I can afford it. I'll buy a domain name and rebuilt it from the beginning. Please send me the names of top domain providers. I know Godaddy.com.

    Happy blogging..!!

To make a generalized assumption might be unfair to some, in case one of the .co.cc happen to be a good site offering quality content. But somehow that is rather rare.

Ya, I know, No hard feelings. But I have a one question. Why Google not take action against blogspot then??? Because it produce more spammers than .co.cc domains. A few number of people knows how to redirect a blogspot domain to a .co.cc domain. So more spammers are found to be in blogger I think.

    +1 to this.
CO.CC may be filled with spam, but for some the cost of a real domain is just too much, not everyone comes from a rich origin, its unfair for Google to take such a drastic step.

Fool in knew it, you didn't get the question. I mean if Google really against spamming, why don't they block blogspot too, because it also consists with thousand of spams. This indirectly mean Google have no real intention to remove spams. Only thing they wanted to do is defeat their competitor. now can you understand what am I talking about.
