The new Google color scheme

I don't know about anyone else, but the new color scheme Google has put up on their website relating to the navigation bar at the top is really annoying.White background on main, black bar with grey text? Utter failure Google, utter failure.When the black bar just first showed up for me earlier, I couldn't seem to find anything as dark grey on black is extremely hard to see.

 

Except color scheme, do you know changes google algorithm?

 

I think it's quite good actually, though about 5 years late.

You probably need more colors on your PC if you are having trouble seeing the letters.

 

I think it is great , I like it

 

My thoughts are that it really looks like Ubuntu's default GTK theme. That's not just me, there's an article somewhere of turning it into a gnome-panel sort of thing.

But I think it's cool.

 

It's new, it's fresh.

Google just starts to make people get used to their new ideas. As you may noticed they have also added new theme (same colours) to the google mail.

 

I like the new color scheme too, though I've gotten use to their old color scheme. But I guess it's time for a change.

 

I hadn't noticed until now,and now its annoying me. No i don't like it!!

Should dig in her heels, kick up a stink and do a Harry Enfield and say

No Googlers we should keep the old familiar Google it's the simplicity that everyone has grown to love.

I for one don't like the black and grey horizontal bar emblazoned across Google pages!

 

What's with the red links on the left hand side as well? I think they are using too many colors on one page.

just thought i would share with you my method on how to change the google bar back to white. hope you make use of it.

I like the new look.. It may not look at first sight but its really good.

 

it is a youtube video tutorial with links.. but basically it is a script that changes the google page back to the old one

I like the new scheme looks a little more modern while still keeping the Google simplicity

 

Google's new color scheme and overall look resembles a cheap WordPress imitation, just that.

About simplicity, it seems you never tried the early Google versions when it was fully functional, not just candy-eye and Ajaxism.

 

If that's what you call liking to share a thing with us - well tbh No I don't like it - I see nothing of substance shared matey
