Hello, I'm currently a phpbb forum owner but the features seem not to be great. So i would like to know: *So you buy Vbulletin, do you have to pay for every update, how does it work?, how many updates are there? *Is it difficult to covert phpbb to Vbulletin?
I use to run a phpbb forum which I later converted to vBulletin. Converting it is simple via a program that Vbulletin supplies called impex. Once you buy Vbulletin you have updates for life.
But these updates are only for the current 4.0? What if they bring out a new version? And about switching, i have several mods installed, wouldn't these give troubles? I would take the publishing but if they charge every time it's pretty expensive...
I just wanna know, how many major updates are there? When is the next coming? Is it smart to take a liscense now or just wait??
Because it's a professional piece of software, easy to install, configure, customize, and monetize via its built-in membership and ad management tools. Nulled software is not a choice if you're serious about your business. Not completely true. If you buy vB4 you'll get free upgrades until vB5 is out, per their licensing terms. You will then have yo pay an upgrade fee, I assume.
