Contest Win $15 - I need a little monster icon designed - guaranteed payment

Hey there, I need a monster icon designed. It's to be used as part of the logo for a site I'm developing. The site's theme is outdoors and fun and the monster needs to fit in with that. There's lots of greens and browns in the design as well as trees and mountains.

The monster should be short and stocky and also hairy. Colours should be dark greens and browns just like the site. The monster should be in a cartoony sort of style. Feel free to use artistic license to come up with interesting monster appendages, horns, number of eyes etc... I'll leave that to your imagination. However the monster needs to be able to scale up and down well.

Please aim for something that fits into 500px X 500px but also looks ok when it's scaled down as small as 50px. With that in mind please provide a vector which I can scale myself in illustrator or photoshop.

Looking forward to see what you guys come up with - it should be a fun thing to design.

Payment will be made as soon as I select the winner. I don't want to leave this competition open for too long.

Edit - while I think of it, if there's more than one good monster then I'll happily pay $15 for each one of them - up to 4 or 5 max. So no need to limit yourself to one entry!

 

Hmm. I dont know how to say this but, can you point me on what kind of art you are looking for? like is it cartoony? realistic?

 

Sorry, should have said that in the Original post. I'd like it cartoony. Fun and childish (not too childish though - it's for a grown-ups website)

What happened to this one? It was similar to the first but wasn't bad, why was it removed? Had the author nicked it from somewhere or did they remove it themselves (in which case bring it back!)
