Both are good, but it depends on what you are trying to do and the type of advertising you are doing offline and/or online.
both are good.Offline marketing offline may not reach a global level as much as online marketing, but it is advantageous in such a way that it covers more number of people in a particular targeted area.Online marketing online advertising through banners and other marketing means, as well as by putting up an online site, you reach people on a global level.
The offline has more of a direct impact or face-to-face effect, while online is manipulating the technological gadgets and online tools to bring across a message. Depending on the type of business determines how effective either will be. The companies today though are manipulating both mediums.
I guess it depends on what type of product you are referring to (i.e. physical product or e-product). If possible, should do it concurrently but of course bearing in mind that usually online is easier and cheaper to do than offline...So, effectively your online marketing might get effected earlier than offline marketing.
both are good in their own logic and view of point. Well it depends on your targeted people that does they've internet access or they'll be more convinced through offline advertisement.

The advantages of marketing online thought is that things happen quicker and theres a hell of a lot of great potential and with online marketing everything can be tested in more detail, meaning you can make quicker, better and more improvements. How about an example of what exactly you mean.
It solely depends o your niche , but generally online marketing is best and i prefer only online marketing.
