What? Chargeback? Domain Locked??

    OK.
I have made payments to Lunarpages for the domain renewal a while back.
Then randomly few days ago, my domain stopped working, and kept on redirecting the website to some advertising page.

I checked on my account's domain, and my nameserver had changed to:
    parking2.mdnsservice.com
    parking1.mdnsservice.com

I tried to change it back to my host's nameserver, but it continued to show errors.
    So.. I called the tech.
Tech @ Lunarpages told me to goto https://manage.opensrs.net
It showed that my domain was locked.
I told the tech, and the tech redirected me to billing department.
So the billing told me that I had to pay the renewal of 19.95 AND chargeback fee of 30 dollars or 40 dollars something.

The billing told me that if I wanted my domain back, I would have to pay those fee along with paperwork.

What is going on? I am so confused. I payed long time before, and it does show that my domain expires on 2012 on Lunarpages, but recently my domain stopped working, and they are demanding a chargeback fee from me.

Of course, there were NO e-mail notification that told me that it was declined, nor my domain had expired, nor my domain was going to expire.
There was only one e-mail relating to this. A billing receipt e-mail of 19.95 for 2012 renewal on 1/24/11

What should I tell them, or is it my fault? I am so confused..

Are you late payment for renewal ? there are more fee to pay for late renewal

2012 not always show expired time or your domain, if you pay late and then become registrar hold, it show 2012 but actually 2011

That's actually your clue. Sounds like someone did a chargeback or disputed the payment
back then. Do you recall having done that, or used somebody's else's credit card or so to
    pay that time?

Yeah, sounds like it's a real chargeback issue.
