    Your second website background should be lite rather than strong green color, your blog have bulk of advertisement. Your golf event is good. Over thing your golf site is incredible.

    Your both websites are looking professional & good. But my suggestion is reduce the advertisements. Those will hamper your SERP.

    Your 1st website has nice design but don't have more articles, back links, index pages. You need to work on link building.
    other website is not looking professional you need to change website layout and add more articles on your website.

    Your 1st site is good, and 2nd is a bit darker so change the back ground of it...
