    Google is listed in N.S.E that means the company as a whole doesn't belongs to any single person but its made up of share holders.
    On the other hand, if we talk about founder of Google then i think they were 'Brin and Page'

    Owner google it there are two people, his name:
    1. Sergey Brin (Russian origin) and
    2. Larry Page (United States).
    They both set up google at both S1 lectures at the University of Michigan at the age of about 25 years

    Google started in 1996 as a project led by larry page and sergey brin both Ph.D students at stanford. It is a public company with a group of stockholders but according to research, larry is the founder and Brin cofounder.

    Google is a company. It is owned by stockholders and shareholders. It is founded by Larry Page and Sergey Brin but it doesn't indicate that they own it.

    my answer is what difference does it make....seriously...is'nt it a public company anyway?? Founders are of course Larry Page and Sergei Brin. However did anyone know that at one point of time..Google was ready to sell their search engine to yahoo?? Guess fate is not without a sense of irony...
