New Features @ NoDangers.com!

Hey everyone,

I've added a new feature at nodangers.com, now if you submit a featured link you will be able to add 3 more deep links, it will appears on the same category you submitted your link to (AND NOT ON THE DETAIL PAGE) so it gives more value to those links,

Featured costs 20$/unlimited, from now it'll be like that, regular links doesn't have the option of 3 more deep links!

Message to those that submitted featured links before that mod: Send me a pm, and gives me the 3urls and anchor texts for your links and i'll gladly add them! That is only for those that submitted featured links before only.

Nice work, i have submitted Elegant Directory there.

Though i culd not read properly french while making payment through paypal It shows $19,95 USD instead of $19.95 USD

Patrick, rebuild your category cache. they're not showing on details pages or searches.

Thanks pointing that out to me, it works but its a very new mod... You can check here http://www.nodangers.com/index.php?search=zeoma - Well for all the new featured (like the one of coolweb) you have the 3 deep links stuffs, but for the older featured they don't have it, i don't want to build those links for them... Will wait till they come to me so i upgrade their featured listing, don't want to make mistakes...

And yep they are not on the detail page, i don't know how to add that feature to the detail page... lol though i'd like to

 

Anyway there was problem with the categories search for 4 of my directories, i just rebuilt cache , now it looks fine

LOL! Always wondered what that was for. That rebuild cache button in the admin always scared me. I accidentally hit it once...but nothing crashed or caught fire.

Rebuilding the category cache is something that isn't noted but is a definite must.

What it does is:

allows for an immediate link back into the specific category from which the listing you are viewing (via search, details, latest link and.or top list) back into the directory.

it's an excellent means of rereferencing back into your directory and also a great way to help pass PR.

I've often wondered whether or not if I should make a thread of its own to stress it, and so that people could read it right off the top, instead of sifting thorugh a thread like this and finding it.

what do you think?

 

I think that is a good idea. It seems no one really knows what the purpose of the rebuild is.

 

Well yeah may be you should do that an0n, I never knew what was that button for, lol seriously...
