automated or not?

if i want to start earning money from amazon, which one is better;

1. create an automated site using plugins, components, etc (eg. using mrrat script and apf bridge for joomla?)

2. create a blog about something and then insert the affiliate link on the posts?

Neither really.. you must just focus on good content first and foremost. An automated site will never work and will quickly get penalised by Google. The blog route is a good one if you create good content. The same goes for creating a store. It is all about how good quality your site is.

 

thanks for the response!! what i meant in point 2 is creating a blog with original articles in it and then "encourage" my readers to buy from amazon through my affiliate links located, let say, at the end of each article. of course, the articles must be relevant with the product i offer..

 

Yes then thats a good approach. Remember that the most important thing is the content - have good honest reviews, good pictures, important information. Don't just copy and rewrite other reviews - know and understand the product. This will build trust and increase conversions.

 

Blog or site they are using what is Good Content.
