I am looking to sell my online hosting, file storage, file sharing website. I have many other website and want to focus on my e-commerce stores.

Be a great starting point for anyone wanting to get into this space but no wishing to start from scratch.

Be a very good addition to anyone who has an existing file hosting, as this site has been around for many years and built up a huge link profile.

Server requirements: I have my own server which run a few sites, I would recommend taking the same server over as it would be much easier, then moving other sites you have. Its a great deal. $180 a month, QUAD CORE, 4GB RAM, Unlimited Bandwidth, Well known provider, not some dodgy host with bad uptime.

Low $$$$, very strong domain, PR4, huge link popularity, 5K uniques per day, script and addon is almost $1K worth.

Note: I have made a deal with the Babylon toolbar company, they pay a nice fee per download and I am working on integrating that into the system. Will report any revenue that comes as a result of that, but get bids in fast as if there is a big increase in revenue price will go up ..

 

Just a thought... Why would that ^ ^ be important... the auction will not close until 7 days after the last bid... The more bids... the longer the sale...

What about google adsense ? Is this site banned or something ?

What is the time you have to spend maintaining the site. IE: removing copyrighted files and dealing with emails etc.

 

You are not allowed to use Adsense on any file hosting sites. Any sites that have Adsense have just not been found yet.

I am looking for around $2K for this site, which is a bargain to the right person. Once I get to around that level I will srtart pulling screenshots for bidders that can win the auction. Many revenue streams have taken me a lot of time and experience to setup. Dont want to just give it all away.

 

Yes we have an active affiliate program. Users earn money everytime their files are downloaded. This functions in the same way as most of the other big file hosting sites.

There are no outstanding payments.

One good way to signficantly increase revenue is to add CPALead to the download page. This way you can earn $0.50 - $4 per download. The sites get thousands of downloads. Then you just increase the affiliate program and pay users something like 10c per download. Everyone happy. Although does not do good for traffic, only revenue.

 

Don't really know about that, could have something to do with the TOS.

I upload over 100 mp3 files per day to 3 different large uploading sites that generate tens of thousands of downloads per day and all 3 use adsense.

They have been around for a long time so if Google wanted to catch them this would have been done a long time ago.

Now you know why I'm interested in your site (at the right price)
