i think PR update not quite 100% correct yet, my site has gone from 1 to 5 so I expect it to go back down soon.

 

I have one site that got PR2, really pleasant surprise. I have another 2 that may still get PR if the update is not over.

 

Is the update still going on?

I have noticed a few changes in the pr of my sites as well. This is a legit update.

 

I think in the future and maybe from today , the only SEO that will be fine for google is to have unique content, the natural growth of the site and do not force anything in order to make a bigger site visit.

 

I saw this morning that I got pr-2 for my main site www.togotutor.com and some other pages got pr3 (only few). The other site oneworldbuzz.com got pr1. I am surprised as anyone else aware of this update?

 

PR changes constantly. It's just a matter of how often Google wants to let us know.

A lot of people are thrilled by the recent update. And many are reporting huge jumps in PR. That's good news. But don't lose focus of the important thing, actually getting your sites to rank well.

I've seen plenty of properly optimized PR1 sites outranking PR3-4 sites.

Is this some google secret as I have not heard this before..

I have registered my domain for news Portal in June, 2010. The site was launched in September, 2010.

We were 3 members team. I was the technical person, other 2 were in charge of news & article management & write-ups.

We got Google News Approval in January 27, 2011. We did apply for Google News Approval in January 3, 2011. That was really surprising for us.

As the technical person behind the site, my tasks was to load posts, Graphics and coding.

I never went for any link building, because as a Google News Approved site, people themselves did it.

Today I have noticed, Page Rank of our news portal is PR4.

What you say guys? (Though you mayn't believe that I have never gone for link building)

The URL is www.timesofassam.com

Even DP also has few threads with discussion over the news published on our portal.

 

I am very happy with the update.

 

3 of my PR0's went to PR4's!

 

Yeah several of my sites PR changed. Definitely legit.

 

Gone from a PR4 to an PR3 and now in this update a PR2, google hates me.
Horror Movies.

 

And I am happy with my all site's PR.

One goes PR0->PR4
One goes PR0->PR3
One goes PR1->PR7

Now I can say for the PR7 site, what is dmoz?

 

PR 3 --> PR 2 (my Horror Movies site)
PR 0 --> PR 1 (my directory)
PR 2 --> PR 0 (my home page)

 

Did I create an Official PR update thread at DP?? Can't I share about my site's PR update???
