Like the title says, I need to find a new host. One that wont charge me to install MySQL databases for example. Cost is also a major consideration also. Does anyone have any recommendations or now of a place where I can read some independant reviews of the various hosting options?
I would recommend asmallorange, bluehost, hostmonster. If you need referral links to them, that will give me credit for me recommending them to you, let me know. All 3, we are using ourselves, and work great. No issues.
I'd recommend hostgator. Check for reviews by DP users in my sig. they have a great reputation. Also, you can check http://hostmoz.com for more info regarding hosting.
My recommendation: Hostgator.com budgethost.ca or budgetreseller.com asmallorange.com duportonine.com I wont suggest resellerzoom, given feedback on them, as I read at WHT.
You could use my site everythinghosting.net we offer 24/7 Customer Support, 30-Day Money Back Guarentee, a Free Domain, SiteStudio etc. Regarding HostGator, I wouldn't reccomend it theirs been a lot of unhappy clients lately go to hostgator-sucks.com for proof. Thanks Brennan
You should go for hostgator.com .The servers are very stable and the support is the best I've ever seen.
I have personally never had any problems with Hostgator - their service is good (cheap and reliable). Also, their support is very good (live support, for example).
i will also add my vote for hostgator. been quite happy with them. Also if you do choose HG, check out this site where you can save $30 www.hostgatorcoupons.net Cheers
Hi, I signed up for hostgator based upon recommendations on this forum and others. My blog was up for about 12 hours before I had my first 500 Internal Server error in the middle of the night. Couldn't get my site going after that. Support was poor and un responsive as to what caused the problem. I cancelled this morning and am currently looking for a truly reliable server to host a production/revenue based website. Any recommendations are welcomed. Currently, I am checking out eNom. Sincerely, Rich
LunarPages disabled sendmail scripts quite a while ago, and have a quirky cpanel interface... you can find better then they... Dennis
I tried a lot of hosting companies and ran into problems with almost all of them. I finally got my own managed server about 6 months ago. I have not had any issues whatsoever and it works great. I have some extra space if you want to work something out. PM me with what your requirements and budget is.
I only had a small problem with hostgator on the first week but since then everything has gone smooth. Also they have online support.
how about uptime and support?anyone you can suggest a hosting that can be the same packages like lunarpages?
