We would like to do a survey of web hosting users. Which control panel do you prefer to use, and how often do you access your control panel? Reply with (Plesk or cPanel) and (Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Never)
I prefer cPanel because it's simple and functional, it's free of bugs. Plesk is complicated in my opinion, it's not newbie friendly and a generic webmaster is not familiar with its interface. cPanel is linux based and Plesk is windows based, it depends on what programming language you are going to use, for example PHP then linux is the right choice, if ASP.NET then windows is the way to go.
I have used both, i find plesk SLOW and not very user friendly. CPanel is fast, easy to use and has way more features.
i prefer Cpanel because EVERY billing system out their supports it (WHMCS, Ipanel, WHMautoPilot, ) those are the major one anyways, and it just works.. no matter what, its decent software all around, and the Reseller options are nice, Zamfoo and somthing else. cant remeber right now lol. so Cpanel wins in that aspect, and everyone know how to use it.
I prefer the WHM/Cpanel combo. I have been reselling/providing hosting services for 6 years now and have used almost every host control panel under the sun and IMO cPanel is the best out there. Hope that helps MB
Cpanel, by far. I have 7 different webhosts right now, and all of them use Cpanel. It is the gold standard.
