link building through creating different sites and linking them to each other is good or bad?

 

according to me, it is good enough when they are all in same niche

for example: i build blog colony about androids
i made this blogs with different keywords:
android wallpaper
android apps
android music
android player etc

then i use smart link plugins and make the related linking between them

As far as i use, it is quite good enough. I need some explanation, is my method good enough or not? thank you

 

Yes it is good but make sure that landing page is totally relevant to your keyword. Quality content is added advantage for you

 

It's not really worth your time, you should spend your time to create better links, the link value of this won't be that great.
You won't get IP diversity, and since the websites will be brand new, then you won't get any PR juice.

BUT, creating these sites with web 2.0 SEO optimized properties should work.

One way links are much much better from quality PR websites.

 

Ip diversity is important, it's a way of making sure the sites are not all on the same server. It does play an important factor if your goal is to get a loads of backlink juice from other sites you own. You may have 50 addon domains linking to 1 site all being on Hostgator.
They will not give you link juice for these backlinks coming from the same IP host.

Your other sites should be on different class C IPs to gain the benefit of this method.

Its good to link the sites together if they are related and all have links from different sites that the other one doesn't then it will be of any use but if all the sites are linked by the same sites and they also interchange the links that's not gonna work much. Ummm no that is wrong. You can easily achieve IP diversity hosting them on different IP's. As for not getting any PR juice, that is just ridiculous. The PR which shows on the toolbar is not an accurate representation of real PR.

If the interlinked sites are related it should be fine.

Yes, it is good to work this way, and yes it is a legitimate tactic. All the big media groups do it to ensure their own dominance.

 

this i believe is called a link farm? i could be wrong. there's a bunch of theories as to if this is a good idea or not. i say go for it and report back with results.

 

I know that PR juice isn't an accurate representation of real PR, what I meant was that in general since it is a brand new site it won't have much weight, but it should work if you build links to all these sites, good juice could be passed.

This strategy is used, and it works, but it is very time consuming. It depends on how hard you want to work.

This would be a good used for higly competitive terms, but it takes hard working and loads of time for doing it correctly.

 

if there are a lot of sites and they are on different topics is bad. if your talking a few sites than its ok.

 

Getting unique C class ip is tough though. Try to work on niche links hopefully you get it by that way.

 

What makes it tough is the price, hosting many sites in different C class ip can be very expensive, as I said before, this is a more complex strategy that requires hard working and money.
