    Use keywords in image_alt and title tags,
    <img src="IMAGE_SRC" title="KEYWORD-1 KEYWORD-2" alt="KEYWORD-1 KEYWORD-2">
    HTML:
    If user searched for any of your keywords in google image search your image will be displayed, from their you'll get traffic.

    add some alt text on every images so google can index it.. adding text caption on the page about the image can also help..
