1. Why are my Adsense channels showing inaccurate pageviews? Is it because I had ad units categorized in more than one channel? For example, I have a channel for Posts, but I also have individual channels for each ad that is in the post. The channel pageviews will show more than 700 pageviews for Posts but maybe 1 or 2 pageviews for each ad unit. 2. At around 30,000 unique visitors per month, how much should I be making? I've only been making around $1 per day. I just launched Adsense on my website about last week. I have a banner at the top, a sidebar skyscraper, and a large banner at the bottom. I also have a links unit to go with Posts and Pages. The majority of my visitors are from the US. Keep in mind this is not a website where people go to look for products -- it's a comic book website/blog. But at this rate, it will take me about 3 months until I get my first $100. 3. Google and Adsense revenue -- I get about 68% from ad units and about 50% from searches. Is this automatically calculated in my estimated earnings?
You need to place ads in between posts to earn more. $1 is way less. My one site gets almost half of your traffic but it earns more than $10 a day being a general niche. And no problem with page-views for particular ad units. That happens also with me.
Yeah, my site is very, very niche though and aimed for a specific comic book character. I'm guessing most of my viewers are pretty tech savvy, as most comic book readers tend to be, so this might be why I'm not getting many clicks. On the other hand, my affiliates with stuff like Amazon and displaying comic books for the particular character got 68 clicks on its first day. Unfortunately, nobody bought anything. I think adding ads between posts is rather obnoxious, but I might just try it out.
don't think about the page view in adsense. its an specific measure. so you don't have to worry about it. if you have 30000 unique and targeted visitors then its possible to earn a huge amount. but you have to tell us your keywords. if your CTR is medium like .4-1.3 per click then you can earn 300$ + it can be 500 also can be 1000$. yes its true yes they will be calculated automatically.
My page CTR is very low...I wish it was higher. I've been experimenting with placing ads in different places. As for estimated earnings, I mean --- if my estimated earnings display is $10, is that INCLUDING Google's share or not including it?
