Yahoos New Search Algorithim

I hear that yahoo is making a new search algorithim.. How is going to effect the current search results? Is it going to drastically different or somewhat similiar? Any thoughts?

Yahoo should speed up its processing time., A normal query in yahoo for me., takes 0.15 sec while the same in google takes 0.03 seconds

As far as the algorithm is concerned., First users like us should experience their quailty before commenting

 

Well I have seen a couple of minor fluctuations in the SERP's this whole month on yahoo.. nothing major.
If they are going to do a major algo change.. only time will tell what the changes will be.

 

All that has happened for me this month is that my site has gone from #6 to #1!

yep...i too think there is some fluctuations...
One of my blog's SERP was improved a lot...

 

There has been changes because they just did an update on the 10th. If they are going to do a major update I hope the change is positive. Last couple updates have not had the best results. Lots of spammy sites are ranking for top terms.
