Does YPN's CPC = Overture's Bids Tool?

I was just curious if the CPC for YPN ads is a direct reflection of the amounts that appear when doing searching in Overture's Bids Tool?

    Anyone know?

No. First yahoo takes their cut so automatically you are looking at 40-60 percent lower than what the bid tool says.

Second, you can opt out of the content network. An advertiser would have to be crazy to pay 90 dollars a click to anything but the search network.

It gives you a general idea on which ads pay what. Like 1EightT said, usually the top listings are those for search, not content.

But it's a good way to find our if ads showing on your site are cheap ones. That's what I've used to block low paying ads while performing my campaigns.

It is a good way to find out which areas are more likely tohave higher paying keywords, just don't expect any 50 dollar clicks ;)

its because they cant read. thats why they ask the same questions over and over again. amazing that they can type what they want to say and not read the answers right in front of them

Either that or it's because certain individuals never learned the art of sarcasm during their developmental years.

Ok, ok. It's just that scary alien icon of yours. I thought you might be one of those conservative types that took evey word as being serious. ;)
