    You have mentioned all major ways for backlink building ;) well there's one more which is quite old method, link exchange ;)
    Just make sure you exchange your links with quality websites only !

    the TOP COMMENTORS can still be an effective way to gain some homepage backlinks and in some cases, sitewide . With a little patiente I am sure you will find some that correspond with your niche . Worst case , you get some targeted visitors.
