I run a wordpressblog@ http://www.kingdaddyforum.com I was making around a dollar every 2 days. I than found a background that made mys ite look a lot better and usable. Now, my site has pulled in zero for around a week. I tried lots of ways to get that click rank back. Nothing is working and when I switched back to the old layout for adsense revenue I just couldn't set it up the same exact way. I made no clicks for two days and switched it back to my new layout. I get under 200 visitors a day and have a few backlinks spread out. The Alexa rating keeps falling by millions every few days. I even Google a lot of keywords in my articles and they are usually on the first page. I just don't get why a theme and ad layout would make NOBODY want to click on it. Can someone give me some tips in any way possible that would pertain to my bad idea to switch layouts and be left with nothing. Before I did this I made close to $5.00 in adsense after a week, which was COOL! ..... Plz give pointers on how I should add myads to this new theme. Currently they are matching the theme : ( Thanks!!!! If you like it enough though... you could buy it for $25 through Paypal just throwing that out there.... lol
Its simply because you are not getting any traffic. Less than 200 visitors is not anything at all. You need atleast 500 to earn consistently. By the way I couldn't see any ad in your site.
put a ad in the sidebar and before the first post.. not in every post. your main page is flooded with ads. theres like 20 of them lol.
Are people actually posting in your forum? I know you are getting a little traffic, but is there any content being posted?
You know you're only allowed 3 ads per page? Like dekap said, keep those three to right at the top. Right now you can only see one banner but the page takes ages to load cos it is HUGE and peppered with ads.
I heard crap blogs who copy others site content also don't earn these days like your websites . and for the thread started try to switch it back as it was. As you are now getting no click with the new ad placement or try to place ads where you think user gonna see the ads , blend with the background . Hope it will work.
i totally disagree with Digital_shubhi cause one of my site gets around 250 visitors a day. and i get around 3-5 $$ per day. so its not important that a huge number of visitors will only give you good clicks. i think your ad optimization should be changed with the change of the back ground. only looking is not everything you should remember this !!
