Please HELP me Choose A Good ShoutCast Hosting

I am looking for a shoutcast hosting for my site www.downloads4djs.co.in

It received 100000+ impressions every month so I am looking for one with following things:

• need unlimited bandwidth/Listeners
• with auto dj function ..
• bit rate 64kbps/96kbps/128kbps

Right now, there is http://www.voscast.com/ in my mind. Anything better than this? What do you say?

 

When you say 100,000 impressions, do you mean you are getting 100,000 unique visitors to your site or page views? Approximately how much bandwidth per month is your site currently consumer and what is your monthly budget?

 

that's page views...I have no idea how much it is consuming because I am feeling lazy to login into my cpanel and check those stats. But we are using HostGator alongwith MaxCDN.

 

When you are already using Host Gator, why you want to change? They have very good service.

 

Hostgator doesn't offer Shoutcast hosting.

 

Obviously I don't want to move from HostGator. I already have a VPS and shared hosting there. What I am looking for a ShoutCast Hosting with my given requirements. If anyone have any suggestion then let me know

Are they offering auto dj? And they don't seem to be offering unlimited bandwidth...

 

I use Museter.com Online Radio SHOUTcast Hosting for my streaming. They have unlimited listeners and bandwidth. Very happy with them. They also have free AutoDJ.

 

While a lot of people want "Unlimited" hosting, that is a horrible reason to purchase it. The price is usually cheap because so many people say "I WANT UNLIMITED!" so they purchase it. These companies operate on the false assumption that their clients will never use too much bandwidth.

Go with a reputable company that actually knows what they are doing such as Shoutcast Streaming or even us!

 

You can get "Unlimited" bandwidth shoutcast stream hosting but there is no "Unlimited Listeners". It is impossible server to support unlimited listeners as this is limited by the network connection and there is a limit on the number of concurrent connections the actual operating system can support. Therefore the listeners cannot be unlimited. Companies who provide everything unlimited is just selling point and is not true as they are overloading servers as "MarcAlle" said.
