How to remove the date before description in the search result

    When I "site" my website, I found here is a date like"21 June 2011" which covers my web description. As a result, the web description can't be seen completely. Can anyone tell me how to remove the date so that we can see the web description clearly?

    PS:I know it's maybe the date that Google Bot indexed this web,the important is how to remove this date.

    Check the site description and change it and update via sitemap. IF it is wordpress site means install all in one seo pack plugin. There u can fill the details of Title,Description and keywords

    CMS like Joomla and Wordpress automatic add date and time in the description for search engine to easier crawl.

    Thanks for your replies,but there are no "date" in any description of my website,yes,i am sure...
    I have never added these "date" to any description,these is useless...
    My website powered by Magento

    It is automatic but not always showing. So far these new features on Google search are built-in and you can't edit them as it is internal in their algorithm..
