US invades Syria? WWIII?

The word is that the US is sending in armour divisions late September and early October into and around Syria. Heard multiple active US duty servicemen from the dept. that deals with fallen men to Marines affirming this.

Also, we've been told since the day these crazy war machines from England, France and USA (and some others?) decided to bomb their best-friend-gone-enemy Gaddafi, that there would be no ground troops as this is an invasion (as if bombing isn't). There have been dead US soldiers from Libya turning up in small numbers for the past couple of weeks!

    Thoughts?

No surprise if this is true. Us can do this to Syria because in the eyes of Us its just another backward muslim country like Afghanistan or Libya. But how can WW3 come.

The US can't afford to invade anywhere, the US needs to calm their shit and stop thinking every problem can be resolved with money or military action.

If we need to invade your shit country based on CIA facts given to us we will do it. Keep in mind we will prob save all the civilians while you suckers blend in with the rest of the population and shoot us and other people in the back.

The amount of misinformation in this thread is appalling .

#1 The USA have no reasons to invade Syria

#2 BRUm you don't have a shred of evidence to back up your claims . I think you're going bonkers m8 .

#3 The F-35 is still 4 years away from introduction into service

#4 @securesite Seqqa is from the UK AFAIK . You might want to check your facts before you machinegun someone . I like the fact that you stand up for what you believe in but you need a better scope on your rifle .

Apocalypse, good back and read carefully. I made it pretty clear I heard soldiers talking about it and just wanted people's thoughts.

Usually when someone says "the word is" they're referring to "the grape vine". Wake up man! :)

Also I'd like to mention it here just in case it happens. That'd be insane :D

Well then i don't believe it man . Even if a operation was being planed there is no reason to execute it let alone let low level marines hear about it .

That does highlight the strategic location of Iraqi for Imperial America.

Syria is imploding and needs no one to help it along. The Golan Heights will remain secure for Israel, indefinitely.

I can really tell you're just chomping at the bit to try and find some flaw in what I'm writing. Calm down, you'll find no claims from me.

Where else would the author get an image of the alleged warship? It clearly says it uses a wikipedia image so don't try to imply it's using it for some other purpose.

Unverified news is just as interesting and discussion worthy. As long as no one derives facts from them, there's no disinfo.

If you don't like articles I post, you know where to go. Go tell the religious they're following unverified news.

I like how no-one's mentioned Libya yet though, that was most of my original post.

I think you are confusing NATO policy and a vivid imagination with US policy and reality.

OK Brum welcome to the nutty corner , a year ago you sounded like well calculated man with a libertarian view not anymore it seems . Say hello to your sane friends Alex(atvboy) , SolarProducts and Misato .

Unverified news is a plague of society and one of the greatest sources of stupidity . Because several failed humans have no other ideas other then to invent bull and popularize it we must deal hoards of misinformed individuals . I'd call this information terrorism especially when it comes to certain subjects .

No one commented on your news on Libya . Wow what a freaking surprise that no sane members gave any importance to your idea that corpses of US troops are coming out of Libya . Disregards the fact that every news agency would love to publish a story like this , you somehow got a hold of the truth (from the bongwater ?) and no one will listen to you .

The warship is real but if you publish a news article about that ship moving have the decency of showing that ship leaving harbor or see that ship on the move . After all you can take pics of them when they are in international waters or you can use satellite imagery to show the location of that ship . Only a unskilled nincompoop would publish a article with a picture taken from Wikipedia .

Not quite. I was listening to a radio show which held phone calls for active duty servicemen. Granted I cannot guarantee all of those who called in were genuine servicemen, I felt listening that I could trust that the ones I heard were.

Now, I never claimed anywhere to have facts. I made it pretty clear that I just wanted thoughts of others on the rumour. I found an article I thought was interesting as it (loosely?) supports what I heard with my own senses, a night or so previously.

You come come in to this thread, try and lecture me with some sickly arrogant delusion of authority and lay down who I am and what I've 'become'. Some western-European-wannabe across the internet whose judge of character is universal? I didn't post here to annoy anyone, but you obviously did. You even list people you've already had disagreements with like it's something to be proud of. I've been nice Apocalypse. Fuck off and don't address me again.
