Can I get a good managed dedicated server for 100 bucks a month somewhere ?

 

Yes, you can - as long as you're ok with lower CPU / memory / space & bandwidth specs, or some other compromises.

Yeah i agree with you David..but some companies charge around 50$ for vps and even more i think then one should go for Dedicated instead of vps

Site is well designed also, a good sign at least. I think having a vere well designed web hosting site pays off very well. If I will have one some day, design is the first thing I will spend money on.

Important is no down time also. Oh, I really hate down time. First for the visitors you loose at the moment, then for the visitors you loose for the future, grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Bear in mind that often you get a cheap dedicated server, but the performance ends up being worse, because the hardware is inferior to the VPS.

 

To host on a VPS, do you have to know how to setup the server?

Or is it the same as a shared hosting account with WHM?

Also, would you happen to know if serint.net allows proxy sites?

It depends you can get a VPS with WHM already installed on it if you want.

You can also get a unmanaged VPS with nothing setup on it and Do-It-Yourself
