Using VCC to buy domains and hosting?

You can get Credit Card in india by following ways:

->Against Fixed Deposit
->By opening Savings Bank account
->By income Tax return

 

I am asking about a way to use the paypal balance not a way to pay using a debit/credit card!

so is there any type of reloadable VCC that can be loaded from the paypal balance?

 

This is a good idea, I can create an account with Axis bank. But will a savings account be enough to get VCC?

 

Hey thanks for the suggestion, I didn't know about Indian hostgator. I contacted them and clarified all my queries, I can pay through my SBI debit card or net banking. Now am just waiting for the funds I withdrew from PayPal to arrive in my Bank account, then i will buy the hosting

 

Yes, saving account is enough to create VCC.

 

The OP has already said that he doesn't have any income proof.

My statement was specifically meant for the OP.

 

After Paypal has restrictions on Indian Accounts i use bank deposit payments to the companies i deal with.

If you are into webmastering, sooner or later, you will need to make international payments via Paypal or other payment processors.

I suggest you getyour self a credit card as soon as possible. If nothing else, get a bank account that will allow you to generate a VCC.

Well, I might be able to help you to pay for hosting and to overcome the Indian PayPal restriction problem. You may contact with me.

 

To but domains are name.com or namecheap.com you do not need to link your CC to paypal.
Only godaddy needs verified paypal.

Anyway, I verified by paypal with a VCC about 2 years ago and there's no problem with my account till date.

 

Have you tried recently within last month after changing the PayPal rules for Indian Paypal account? You can not pay from paypal balance. You can pay from a linked credit card through paypal, or you can pay directly with the card.

 

there is a high risk by using VCC , because of some domain&hosting companies ,they also needs you verify your payment information.

 

So, better use Hostgator.in as they take payment via netbanking or debit cards. And you won't need any VCC.

 

I cannot buy from those sites without linking a CC to my PayPal.

 

I am still hesitating to buy from hostgator.in, bcoz it costs me nearly 2000 rupees more when compared to hostgator.com
I do not wish to pay more money, but if i can't find any other way i guess i have to pay that amount.
