Admin floder situation

Hi we all know you can change ur whmcs admin folder to ur wish list but once it is already installed can you change a name

you already setted like billing to bills?

I think it would blow the codes of ur website function and linking but I think it could be made just giving a retouch to ur

sites code,let me hear what you think please

 

Usually just a matter of making the appropriate changes in the WHMCS database. Not a big deal at all.

 

Chaning the path and protect the trusted IPs with .htaccess is a good solution to reduce attack/flooding.

 

Huh? He is talking about changing the entire directory, NOT the admin directory.

You only need to edit your configuration.php and your cron.

 

Yeah, he also said he knows that the admin directory can be changed, but wanted to change the entire directory. Who knows? I don't really know what he is trying to do now.

 

Im using whmcs too. Dont have any problem with admin folder.

 

After change the path- just change the path in configuration and all will be working OK.
