Is "victory" going to be worth the price?

I have just been watching Bush bumbling through another very bad speech and have a general question, please remember I am not bashing the USA in general, I happen to like Americans as much as I like any other nationality.

    My question is this:

After all of the deaths (tens of thousands of Iraqis and 3,000 Americans so far) is the "victory" (whatever that means and whenever that arrives) worth it?
Will America, and indeed Europe be a better and safer place?
10 years from now will you feel safer after the massive loss of life in Afghanistan and Iraq?
Will it make a scrap of difference?

    Input please. :)

No, I just observed another typical post. Have you actually clicked your moniker, selected "find all posts by" and gone back to read them? I did a few pages, looks like about 90% plus are all taking aim at America. Must be "tough love," eh? Oh, you care, I can just see it in your posts!

You need to worry about your own back yard. Or, maybe you don't worry about it all ;)

And again you are getting it all wrong.

I have said this many times before but will say it again just for you darling:

I have nothing against American people. I just despise the arrogant corrupt war mongering bastards running your country.

I didn't say American people. I said "America." Pure and simple. Right click your name, go back and review your posts. You need to worry about your own country ;)

Yes, and again as I have said many times before I am shit scared about my country because whatever Bush tells our Prime Minister to do he does, because he is just as corrupt and as much of an idiot as Bush is.

At least he's a better orator than Bush, but that ain't too difficult at the end of the day. :D

    I also saw the speech.

While Bush was speaking I felt he was preaching to the choir. It appeared he was repeating a lot of stuff that was directed at a tight number of people that represent his core supporters and the upcoming elections.

I think lots of people would have blown off his words and others would buy into it in a serious way.

Then I read the newspapers and the White House is orchestering a very big massive "get to the supporters" campaign. Yesterday they had a lot of talk radio people from all over the country. They had major and less major top administration people available all day to interview with the talk radio people from Rumsfeld, and Condi on through a lot of the cabinet secretary's.

They were broadcasting all over the place. I think he used his pulpit and ability to call a press conference to send out the message to his supporters.

He trys his best to convince the people with his repetitive shit about the "war on terrrrrrrrrr" "nooookular weapons" etc. etc. etc.

He is a very corrupt and dangerous man there is no doubt about that.

Let us just see him bumbling his way through another speech from the archives :D

John Reid is an absolute idiot, he is our equivalent of Donald Rumsfeld.

Having said that I did lay a $100 bet on him being the next Labour leader at odds of 10/1 about 2 months ago, we'll see if I win around May 2007.

Gordon Brown is the favourate to take over but he is the biggest cunt in Britain and might not get the call. :p

We Americans never said "Japan only attacked Hawaii, why should the rest of the country bother to fight?"

We Americans never said "The Islamists only attacked New York, why should the rest of the country bother to fight?"

You attack one bean, get ready for the whole burrito.

Grow up dude, most sensible people know that the Bush administration is the worse administration in the history of the USA.

This is about a corrupt Government, not an attack on America in general, if you took the time to think and read you would realise that.

You can take your moronic blathering and go straight to hell.

We voted George Bush into office not once, but twice. We like him. And we don't like you.
