Hi guys, Based on your experience how do you rank the most effective backlinks for your websites from the highest to the lowest? In other words which one would be the most important to start with and which one would be the least? (The options are Article writing, social media, social bookmarking, directory submission, blogging, forum posts, etc.) Thank you,
All links matter, it doesn't matter from where you will start. More important is to diversify links as much as possible and do link building with all of the above. Don't forget that first important step is research and competitor analysis.
I know that all of them are important but I have personally found Blog Posts very effective so if I want to start I would start with that but I want to verify my finding. Does anybody else have some insight based on experience?
my favorite and the first must be blog commenting on high pr blog . that's so effective even that's little bit spammy but . forums profile is the good one . you can get backlinks and you can get visitors from members
Yes, Blogging is a very effective way, but for a newly created website, you'd better start with social bookmarking.
Among social bookmarking websites I usually submit to Digg and Delicious but unless the topic is really hot (celebrities for example) they get just one bookmark. Not sure how effective that is.

Blog commenting is very very important as far as SEO is concerned. But when its about getting a lot of traffic then Social Bookmarking, article writing and Forum post are very important. So altogether all forms of backlinks are equally important for a blogger/website owner.
High PR blog comments are awesome... you can find a great deal on these at OwnTheSERPs.Com They include a complete list of your backlinks when they finish building them for you. Also gotta love high PR .edu and high PR .gov these are a bit more expensive and hard to get though.
