Hi I need a logo for my hosting company. Name: GalacticHost.org Text Logo Must Contain: GalacticHost.org Slogo Logo Must Contain: Out of This World WebHosting Dimensions: 212x44 and a larger one 351x105 Other Details: Match current website colour scheme, must be a transparent background would be nice to have little stars or planets surrounding the logo and the icon at the start of the logo a star or planet. Looking for something fast so the first person to post something I like wins that simple. Our current website is www.banterhost.com that's the colour scheme it must match. Thanks. Rick
I don't really like that it's a little to simplistic the font isn't really funky it's plane and the star is to plane I'm looking for something more funk, fun and fresh that's just really bland. Sorry, but thanks!
A earth globe isn't what we're looking for in all honesty to many companies use them and I don't like it though that's about the only thing I don't like.
A lot better love the star. Though it needs to be a little more BOLD and the space between the site name and the slogan is to wide. Also don't use white text anywhere it wont show up on our white backgrounds such as our invoice.
Can this be made transparent? With a transparent background? If so give me a few minutes to talk with my business partner but this is defiantly the most promising we have seen.
This is also the other we're struggling to decide over because it's so good. Maybe some little starts everwhere like Universifer had in his image would help. I also like the little bolt through the O he added. Guys I can't stress enough though. NO WHITE TEXT ANYWHERE it wont display on our invoices.
These are probably the two finalists. To decide we want to know from each of you can these come with transparent backgrounds? And remind you no white text not even in the slogan. The only downside to Universifer is the font used I prefer the other guys font not a huge fan of the italic fonts and like more BOLD in your face fonts if your font could be swapped with the other logos then you'd defiantly win.
I'll have a look at my design now. With the white font concern, I would recommend having two versions, one for the dark background (with white text) and another for your invoices etc (with grey text instead of the white)
Owain you're the winner me and my partner have decided. However first questions. The top image though the one with the grey/black background can you make it so it's a transparent background the the slogan is not white?
Thank you. I can make it transparent, but if you don't want white on it, what colour do you want the stars/slogan? Personally I think it would be better having two version as I posted above. The white/grey star and slogan looks good against the dark background of your site.
