Whoooa! I was hoping for a thread on this topic. I like Facebook because it's more content rich, but I find Twitter to be simpler. I guess any quality has its downsides.
FACEBOOK is good fro interaction for your friends, family and colleagues while twitter is for other people who you do not know.. Security and privacy is an issue with this
I like Twitter because there just seems to be less involved with doing it successfully. Facebook should not be ignored however.
Definitely have to say twitter for faster response and easier method of traffic. Combined it with Tweet attacks and you have a great marketing machine
I like facebook for socializing with friends and family but twitter seems to be better for marketing though you cannot ignore the sheer number of people on facebook. And of course, I market stuff there too.
Twitter is kinda not fit for a business type, for entertainment yes, but I prefer writting longer articles about my site. So I do prefer Facebook as the main choice.
This is a great point for sure... but you should never discount Twitter as fit for a business type... A tweet that is short and simple like "check out our fathers day 25% sale [link to website here]" can convert like mad if you have the right people following you. It's that simplicity that makes Twitter a great platform for people just looking to get the short and sweet update on a company.... I find even on Facebook my shorter updates get the best feedback percentages. Your long copy should be on your site and these platforms should be used to get people to you site....
