Hello, My question is related to adding a bank account to MB. Now the thing what I want is the Swift-Code, I did search for it, but I found my branch missing (It showed only a couple of swift-code of the banks branches in my City). Also since the last three digits in the swift-code are the banks branch code i.e. CORPINBBxxx, could I replace it with my branch code, since I know it. Thanks in advance, Vinith Almeida
I did call them, but the person who answered din't even know what a swift-code is. The people are too lazy to even find out about it.
No luck here, its not listed. What do I do now ? Do all bank branches have swift code or only a few ?
I want to add a bank account for future use, you got any problem ? And why have you posted the same the same thing as my visitor message ?
I think the concept of using SWIFT codes is not used in Asian countries. It's popular in European countries.
Just go to bank ask from any sinior officer, every bank have there swift code, and if MB will not eccept yoyr bank swift code then go contact us page there is option to submit bank details, then they will contact you in 2 working days.
Generally speaking in such cases you should use the SWIFT CODE for the main office. Just make sure your account number is complete as usually the account number also contains the branch number
swift code is given by your local bank. so, you just go to them and askd for your swift code. they will provide or you have find the bank website there may have that code.
It can be add easily, first you have to get swift code, it can be get from your branch, or their helpline, or from the internet easily. Just type Swift Code with your bank name in google you will get swift code of your bank on the page.
