Anything Windows can do you can do on Ubuntu. Ubuntu is Linux and, unlike Windows, can be as light or heavy as you want and can run anywhere.

We just got a new computer with Windows 7 and are delighted with it. It's easy to use and has many security points which earlier editions lacked. I also think Microsoft Office is a good product.

Windows 7 is awesome, not too excited about Windows 8 though, perhaps I won't be transitioning soon. I hear Microsoft's Security Essentials is the best antivirus on the market right now.
Microsoft was only formed because they bought someone elses software at the right time and made an agreement with IBM to use it on there machines whilst still keeping the sellin rights. It wasn't them who wrote the first software that formed Microsoft no it was someone else!! They only successfull coz they have a vicious buisness sense that is all!!!

Absolutely false. Consumer Reports ranks it fourth among the free products. Personally, it missed a trojan on the Windows box we have that AVG and Malwarebytes both caught.
