Hello Guyz, I have a website SmashinGeeks.com and its getting over 1200 visitors a day. But I have some problem with adsense, it never give me more than a dollar per day. Please give me some advice or any kinda tricks regarding that.
You need to enhance your adplacements. Furthermore, add some videos etc and use the adsense' ads for videos too.
but your site should really be a Hit for ads! you got some real quality of a stuff there! are you some way linked to smashing magazine too?
Ohh, just a dollar per day.. Very Poor, it should be atleast $$ a day for such informative and heavily traffic blog. Try to change advert placement and you should see the difference.
Remove Advertise Here Ads First, Use 336x250 and 300x250 ads more than 468x60. Remove 468x60!!!! And you are not making use of 468x60 at the header. Ensure you use it, it might work.
The problem would most probably due to your visitor behavior. Most webmasters wouldn't be "foolish" enough to give you money by clicking your adsense ads. Try to monetize the traffic by getting personal ads and other alternative methods, CPA/CPM etc
that seems not so possible. your website is a 'HIT' & even if out of 1200, 800 are webmasters still you're getting 400 such people who are more prone to click on ads. you either are trying just to get some traffic off here or you really need help and you'd read more ebooks for marketing online.
hit me a PM with your skype id i will help you with instant result, but only can comment after viewing your content etc
Hm you have a nice site, good potential. It is weird you're getting so little Income for the amount of visitors though, maybe it is as one said; you're attracting a different type of audience. Here are some common tips anyways that should help a bit. I have a more detailed guide with better tips/tricks too. ''1. Look up the Google Heatmap, it shows you which places have gotten the most clicks (ad placements, left, top, bottom etc), but if that doesn't work don't be afraid to change the position of your ads again (its all about experimenting) 2. Also things like having the right format will help. The large rectangle is used a lot and from experience is the most effective. (Note: I don't know if you have already applied this since on this PC + the Ads are blocked) 3. And yes quality, unique content (Make sure to add some of your own personality to them instead of copy pasta) will help (but you already have this it seems). 4. Stick to a shedule for more loyal visitors (Also benefits yourself). 5. Also color; choose a color that goes well with your background/site (Makes it look like Adsense is a part of your pages/Blend it in/Can result in more clicks) 6. Alternative to 5, you can also use Red Titles with a black description, + the blue/red URLs (Also widely used, obvious and effective). ''
I think the best method of all you can do is to increase your traffic! The most effective way to do that is through backlinks! Have you considered getting articles written for your site and published? That's a very quick and powerful way to build the links! Google loves backlinks.
@above, I have really worked hard for the traffic I am getting, I do"nt know how the popular blogs like Mashable and HuffingtonPost get traffic. They also do publishing only like us but they get more return then us.
you are comparing your 1 year old baby against 5-6 years old blogs, good job. What so special about your blog? What sets you apart from all the other blogs out there? Do you write your own content?
I don't know what your site looks like, but I know that making your ads blend in with your site will help you. Make sure the links from Google are the same color as your links in your blog and the background colors to change them to look like your content on you blog. I hope this helps you
your article is too informative. your visitors do not need your adsense link anymore ..lol try to put a adsense code in last post.
hi, i think you should rearrange your ads. as you have very high amount of traffic and people are coming every now and then. make ads visible to your visitors. thanks
