    Google updates the Page rank only a few times in a year. Only Google insiders know when it will be and they don't want to divulge it to anyone other than members of the Google team. I wonder why they have to be so secretive about updating their
    Page rank system.

    I Don't think that now Google update PR in every 3 months from last few months Google update PR in any random sometime it take more then 6 months.

    Thats a crucial question for all webmasters and the right answer is with Google alone.I wish they could share their schedules on PR updates for this year and save us from spending time in speculations.

    The date never disclose by google we can just wait and watch to green tool bar effecting or not :)

    Because if Google still maintain it, that's mean it has some importance.
    Let's be not so hypocrite, it does matter even for you if your lyrics blog has PR0 or PR5.
    The traffic and SERPs depends also on PR, that's why.

    As per my thinking it generally update around 6 months. My page rank was increased in Jan-2011 and made it 4 after 15 days it became 3 again.

    PR is simply a buzz tool for Google to keep webmasters talking about Google. With +1 being pushed by Google now, the next PR export may be on hold until they feel the need for more "Google talk" among webmasters.
