Maximum Amount of Adsense Units per Page

Reading through Google's terms it says the following:

Currently, AdSense publishers may place up to three AdSense for content units on one webpage. You may also place a maximum of three link units and two search boxes on each webpage.

Does this mean that you can only have up to:

3 x AdSense Content Units per Page or 3 x Link Units per page

or does it mean

You can have 3 x Adsense Content Units + 3 x Link Units on the one page

That means AND not OR

 

are u clear? max 3 link and max 3 content ads.

 

Yeah its clear that on one page you can use 3 text unit ads and 3 link unit ads so there are total 6 ads on page page...

you already have the idea and it is "or" that you mentioned. i.e you can have maximum 3 adlink and 3 ads content.

 

Thanks for that everyone much appreciate. I thought it was 3+3 but I just wasnt 100% sure

 

it means that you cannot add more than 3 ad units on your site, 1 ad unit can be of 468*60, 250*250 and others.
