when sharing a website link of facebook...

when I share a page on my website on my facebook way is there a way to change the photo or text content? right now no matter what page I enter it for some reason selected a photo of myself and the text is some welcome text. how do I tell facebook to use other text? thanks!

when i share webpage from my website on my facebook wall facebook auto selects an image and text. can you manually change the photo or text. right now the text is some welcome header info. nothing to do with the story. i need it changed. any ideas?

 

Facebook selects this photo and info from your website's back end. Can you access your meta data information where all of your keywords are? Change it and wait until google crawls your website again. If you click on 'no thumbnail' before you post, you can take the picture away.

 

u can edit within FB while posting

i don't see how you can change the txt, it is all grayed out

 

I am also not clear about your question. Please say easiest way.

 

You can change the image by clicking the arrows at the bottom before you hit share. Facebook will only pull certain images from your website or blog. If you are using a wordpress blog always add an image to the post and FB should pick it up. Also once you have posted, FB cookies will only pull up images from the very first post you made. You can not change this.

 

Here is the meta tags, just change the code to meet your needs.
