Anyone experience a huge drop after algorithm change?

Hey. Anyone else experienced a huge ranking or traffic drop after google's algorithm change? A few of my clients have lost huge traffic after this, and we're wondering how it could have been affected.

Neither do any spamming or link farming. Just plain old manual post/blog or updates.

Any suggestion would be good.

A lot of people have experienced problems. For example, I have seen some pages ranked #1 for their KWs take a nosedive out of top-500. More shockingly, some of these pages were showing as "duplicate content" with the original contents getting accredited to other websites that had copied. So the Panda issues are still grave for sure.

 

yes i experienced that one, actually a big drop, fortunately i manage to get back, it takes a few time but that's normal..

 

yup, same here, the ranks are creeping back.

 

It seems small websites easy to appear this phenomenon.

im experiencing the same thing, but my rankings are coming back, there was amajor drop in the last couple days

 

Please recheck the following points -
Unique contents are highly appreciated
Google will look for feedback
User comfort level is considered
Too many ads will be a problem

 

Even though you are not doing any black hat seo, google made the update to eliminate duplicate content with other sites. Also, google made this update because of the 'farm content' issue. If this is the reason why the revenue of your site dropped, better create more unique content for your site, remove or replace those duplicate content, blogging can help you boost your site.

 

Now page rank not mators, and also if your content is new and if google thinks its good for their users then it wold be shown on top.

After Google Panda Update, many sites were got affected,even eZine articles as well.
I'm also trouble with the same issues, but can't able to find the points to recover from it. My sites just got out of search results and doesn't showing in last 100.
Is there anyone who can tell me something about what can i do to regain my original ranking that is @ 4th position in the Google's first page search results

 

Nope,, not like in Google instant update before. I got a huge drop.

Thats the thing with search engines, they're always changing stuff!

 

After updation some genuine site is also effected, content is only key to get back your ranking.

 

I think my site most effected with algo change earlier it rank in first page now it is 30th page in Search engine ranking page

 

After the algorithm update anyone who scrapes my site word by word is ranking higher. Time to say good bye to google - welcome yahoo and bing.
