Google Checkout is out of BETA?

I just went to google checkout and saw that people from many countries can register now.

However, India is still not on the list.

Yep, I just wish it opens India Soon...

 

Nigeria is in the list but not India.

 

This is great news. Now as soon as they allow recurring payments, I'm going to switch over from paypal!

 

Yeah... thats funny... I guess the Indian financial regulation regarding money coming in and out of india... is extremely strict... (Read closed)

 

I don't get it. The sign up form has United States hard coded as the country. Where do you see the other countries? Is UK in it? The official blog doesn't mention anything about other countries either.

It's showing drop-down menu of country list. Allmost all country is in the list.

That's just allowing foreign billing addresses. I got all excited thinking non-US merchants can use it...

its still US only for merchants. and no india on customer registration form. maybe soon sometime

 

lol I was excited as I could do the customer sign-up! hmm now as India is not on the list I can't even do that.. lets wait a few... months..
