I just went to google checkout and saw that people from many countries can register now. However, India is still not on the list. You could check here: https://checkout.google.com/
This is great news. Now as soon as they allow recurring payments, I'm going to switch over from paypal!

I don't get it. The sign up form has United States hard coded as the country. Where do you see the other countries? Is UK in it? That's just allowing foreign billing addresses. I got all excited thinking non-US merchants can use it...
