    Hi,

I am looking forward to buy a webhosting where I can put domains with affiliate programs. I am planning to prepare 10-15 domains with 10-15 pages and an installed blog. I have gone through different webhosting plans but I want a second opinion. So can anyone suggest me most economical plan that fulfills my requirement.

    Thanks.

Well, you're going to need about 20 Mysql Databases. Around 5GB Diskspace to cover, all your pages + images. (not including the blog) to be safe. And depending on traffic, go for something with 50Gb bandwidth for now, until you grow.

That should give you an estimate on requirements. As for hosting, Stay away from godaddy. That is all :)

I'm not with them but I hear hostgator is pretty good for alot of IM'ers.. Plus, I hear their support is top notch.

Lots of people complain about Godaddy support. I've never had an issue with them when I call about my domains.

Any good host will restrict processes and inodes. You simply can't let a single shared user take over your server and use the majority of your resources. If you require dedicated resources, you need a dedicated hosting platform, plain and simple. If the host isn't limiting the resources in some way, I feel bad for the rest of the clients on the server, when a couple users decide to become abusive.

Thats correct. So we dont put any INODE restrictions, and our Apache process limit is 50 per user where HG only accept 25, which is never recommend for any heavy loaded Ajax based WP. Thats why our clients love us :)

No INODE limits, as I explained, allows clients to overload the server with millions and millions of files. That's just asking for trouble.

Well, hopefully you have found an answer. Just in case if you are still looking for a web host, then give HG a try and you will see the difference.

Sounds to me like it might be easier for you to set-up a reseller account (not necessarily because you are going to be selling web hosting), but because it will be easier for you to manage multiple cpanel accounts under one account. What is your monthly budget?

I see, in all honesty, if you are looking for something dependable you may need to raise your budget by a few dollars per month. Also, keep in mind that blog sites can become very resource intensive, so I would definitely make sure you stay away from any host claiming to offer unlimited diskspace/bandwidth or who is doing extreme over selling (ex: 100GB of diskspace for $3 per month). Those types of companies are more likely to suspend your account much quicker (because of the server already being overloaded) than those who are providing more realistic web hosting packages.

Who are you currently hosted with? I'm not saying you cant host a blog with a company that claims to offer unlimited services, however you definitely run a higher risk of running into server load or account suspension problems on those types of accounts.
