    hello,

i am planning to make a new e-commerce website to help my base company expand worldwide
i require to know that when making a e-commerce website- what all do i require?
heres the basic idea - my website will have 5 pages [home, services, products, about us, contact us]

now in the produycts section, i need to list around 300+ products, which people can add to basket, and then check out with credit card, or electronic funds transfer.

but the thing is i require an easy way to update the product listings [say from a database]

    anyone experienced have an idea"?

For Ecommerce sites you can use readymade softwares like - OsCommerce & Zencart. You can set up complete ecommerce shopping mall with this softwares.

ok, i dont have much experience with making websites, espicially php and other scripts like asp are completely alien to me.

all i want is a user friendly system which i as a normal person would be able to run without much sweat.

also do zencart and oscommerce integrate accepting money? [i dont know how money accepted and where it would go]

    are these softwares hacker-safe?

would it fit with custom templates?
