Hey guys I was wondering what the name of the technique they used on the menus on: http://www.gameinformer.com/ I mean the folded back borders on the menus. If anyone could tell me that would be great! Cheers!
I dont understand what you mean by the folded back borders... could you send a screenshot of what you mean?
If I'm not mistaken, you are implying about how the menu seems to be folding back behind the content section. it's quite simple. It can be called a "curled corner" It's actually just a triangular shape just under the solid rectangle that makes the header. Here is a tutorial: photoshopandyou.com/tutorials/curled-corner/ Hope this is helps.
do you mean like the page is like folded back with something to click on and then it will enlarge after that?
Sorry for not making it that clear guys but virilemag seems to have hit it spot on! Cheers for the tutorial as well!
well, it's not a technique man... it's just a design throw photoshop! and it's depending on the skills of design. you can design a similar nav. bar and then just use it as a background of your menu bar... that's it!
I think it's javascript. you can also make that type of menu if you have good skills and knowledge. thank you.
Honestly just get to fuck. That did not help what so ever you little spammer. and SanchyClub - Thanks man! I was considering just doing it in photoshop as other methods do seem a bit ott complicated!
