NO site will be dead. People will not risk downloading 500 - 800 meg files without seeing preview pics. Not at all fine. Also since the file names are turned into pure random numbers on filesonic there is zero chance of me being able to find the matching images to the 1000s of movies even if i work 24hour days for 3 days.

I though filesonic was more pro than this hence taking the risk to use their image hosting without backing up the images with another image host.

I've never heard of taking an image host down for 3 days, imagine imageshack yeah taking site down for 3 days. The imagehosting is = as important as the files to me. There should be a contingency for this imagine taking all files offline for 3 days. That's if it does take 3 days, the last time i heard of such a thing all data ended up being lost.

 

want2makecash is right the images are very important to represent a file and to attract users to download a file. If image is down nobody will download that file.

sonicpreview will not cause any problem for me though i use pixhost .org for hosting images.

I think there is something big technical problem nowdays at filesonic. All FS stuffs are very slow repeatedly: the FS homepage, to open a download links and the download speeds. I got complains from free users too that they can't open FS download links randomly, or they have to wait long times for this process and finally, if they succeed they get a very low download speed. (lots of them close the download process when they see the time remaining from downloads becasue of the very slow speed)

I'm on PPD plan and my daily downloads are very balanced, stable, I'm uploading a same quantity for a same sites, but in the past 2-3 days my download numbers steadily decreasing and i think that is why. (this is surely a bad impact on sales too)

Hish, do you know something about these problem at FS and when we can expected to return FS to normal?

That's I was talking about too above. In the past 2-3 days randomly there are problems like this.
I'm waiting something reassuring from Hish, that they are working to solve these things. At least I hope so.

Anyone have problems with stats ?? Mine barely move. Yesterday i notice that and i guess it's frozen. What else should i guess ? Earned money show record low values most day and then suddenly for 2-3 hours period in maybe 5-6 steps, jump and reach some normal and expected values. Today seems it's worst then yesterday. Counter report only 149 downloads so far what is unlikely to be true. I guess it's maintenance again or even bug but this stats don't act normal at all. Anyone have similar problem ??

Hi stats are fine today. We had a small maintenance on them yesterday and recalculated everything, once the maintenance was over.

Filesonic is working fine. We had stats maintenance yesterday, we had and still are having Sonic Preview issues and we had a slow site 2 days ago.

Regarding the slow site, it was fixed a few minutes after it was reported
